I'm happy to be stepping in to Sundownwer's "Songwriter's Showcase" on friday nights. It's always nice to have a platform for playing the original stuff. Bay Jam was a great warm-up for it...

I'll be there May 2nd and 9th from 6:30 - 10:00, coinciding with the Key Largo Songwriter's Festival.
I'll have more on that... as soon as I get my time slots.

I took the stage a little after noon to get things started. Great crowd - great set. John McKinna joined me with his flute for my closing song,"John Barleycorn Must Die." His biting flute style is etherial... apparently there were quite a few fans of Traffic on the lawn...

Performing for Guy Harvey and Wyland

Good news folks!

I will be performing at the Guy Harvey Oceanic Foundations fundraiser this year on Oct 29th. Looks like I'll be up at the IGFA's (International Game Fish Association) Headquarters and Hall of Fame a lot this month.
It's up in Dania Beach, and it's not a cheap ticket, but if you would like to attend - here is your invitation!

I'll be there for their Mortgage Burning Party, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and now, this as well.

I will be playing the guitar that Wyland painted on for the first time since! (It lives on my living room wall these days...)

Busy. Bay Jam 14 was phenomenal. Another crazy Full Moon Party at Pierre's / Morada Bay. Earth Day Benefit at Cheeca Lodge. Weddings and Parties. It's deinitely Season...

(A little laconic, I know. That about covers it, though.) <-- Hey. I don't know it, but I can rhyme good. ;-)

Whew! This has been a whirlwind trip. After planning and "executing" Dad's 60th Birthday Party, Christmas with Three Families, the ABC television spot and planning for New Year's, I find myself with a few moments in the Hotel Suite while Suzi's getting ready.
The TV studio has gone all digital and the experience was amazing! All of the many cameras were robotic and controlled from another room. Don Welch is a terrific host and it was neat seeing all the sets in the huge studio room.
I am getting copies of the raw and edited footage, so I'll be posting it soon.

(... gotta head out to go bar-hopping in downtown Chattanooga now - hooking up with the whole gang...)

Well, my TV commercial has been running all this month up in Miami/Dade county, and will run in Key West through December. You can see the low-quality YouTube version on my front page.
I will be taping a segment for the "This'n'That" show with Don Welch, ABC, Chattanooga. The interview and performance will air on ABC in Chattanooga at 12:30 Noon on December 28th.
I'll get a copy to post up to my various websites, including MySpace.
Pretty exciting stuff...
